Nesting Square-tailed Kites
Neil Kirby took these photos of the Square-tailed Kite nest from Sandy and Lyle's backyard at Mt Riverview. This is the first record of a nesting Square-tailed Kite in the Blue Mountains. The two young successfully fledged, the first early on 3rd December and the other, three days later.Below, female and nestlings, 2nd November 2007
